Knowing Christ for myself

Philippians 3:7 | I consider everything to be a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my lord.

All the treasures I stored up on Earth, all the confidence I put in man, wealth, or myself... all the time I spent focusing on things the world says makes you credible or successful or holy. All of those things are considered crap in view of knowing Christ Jesus for myself. He changes everything. How you see yourself, how you see others, and even how you love yourself. He becomes the standard. And everything else falls away.
