One of my daughter’s favorite things to do in the morning is have me activate Siri on my phone. I always oblige because she presents her request with such excitement. On school mornings, normally as I am combing her hair, she loves to ask Siri, "What time is it?" This question is always followed by incessant giggles; Emrie loves to see how frazzled I get when Siri announces the time and I realize we are 10 minutes behind schedule!
So earlier this week, Emrie tried activating Siri on her own. After her third attempt, I said, "Emrie, she only responds to my voice". As soon as those words left my mouth, I felt like God was saying, “That’s exactly how you should be.” We should be sensitive to His voice and learn to dismiss the voice of the enemy. We do not have to give into fear, anxiety or worry. Hearing and responding to Gods voice creates peace in our life and we could all use a-lot more of that.
Prayer:
Father,
Help me to be sensitive to your voice. I desire to hear you clearly. Grant me your peace and give me understanding. I declare I will be free in the area of my mind.
In Jesus name, Amen.
Much Love,
Tori
