Romans 8:15: For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear. Instead you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry out ABBA Father.
You are Christ’s own. His actual child. He feels distant sometimes but there’s not a place you can go without Him. He’s not just mighty; He’s love. He’s not just a creator; He’s a caretaker. To be held in arms that are incapable of letting go is the definition of freedom.
You weren’t given a spirit of condemnation when you accepted Christ; you were reborn with a piece of God that follows you everywhere---- in the trenches, in the valleys, and on the mountains.
You are held by a Father who will never give you back; an heir to a promise that began before you did. You're the child of a Savior who loves you with His whole heart. Declare this in the face of any type of darkness. Because every word of it is true.
